Safeguarding Risk Management Fundamentals Webinar
Co-facilitated by the Professional Standards Unit and Catholic Church Insurance, the Safeguarding Risk Management Fundamentals e-Learning video modules provide participants with an understanding of the different types of safeguarding risks that your parish may face. Presented over three short modules, the Safeguarding Risk Management Fundamentals e-Learning video is designed to increase your understanding of the types of safeguarding risks within your parish, and develop your understanding of how to conduct a risk assessment in a formalised way.
These modules are suitable for any person within a parish that is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and delivering programs.
Module 1:
This module provides an overview of possible safeguarding risks within a parish context and defines the risk assessment process and how it can assist in addressing safeguarding risks.
Module 2:
Delving deeper into the risk assessment process and working through practical demonstrations on how to conduct a parish risk assessment, Module 2 explores processes for analysing, rating and evaluating risk
Module 3:
In this final module, we explore the final step in the risk assessment process focussed on rating the likelihood and consequences of possible risks and taking action to address the identified risks.
